This spring, we were excited to welcome No Office Architecture as part of our lecture series! Nimet and Omar shared their design process, research, and experiences in practice, giving students a unique look into their work.
We also had the opportunity to showcase an exhibition of their drawings and models for an entire month. Thank you, Nimet and Omar, for an inspiring visit!
Drury University Hammons School of Architecture
A different kind of architecture education.
Our setting within a small liberal arts university makes the Hammons School of Architecture program unlike any other. With a close-knit community of students, faculty, and alumni coupled with a curriculum that encourages exploration and community outreach, HSA students build a foundation that will support them throughout their careers.

Each year, four fifth-year students are recognized for their outstanding research and design work and are selected to present their thesis projects at our Librarium.
The 2026 selected projects included:
**Rachel Hoogland** — designed a post-war archive located on the Gaza Strip. Her project thoughtfully incorporated Palestinian culture while creating a safe space to record, repair, archive, and circulate the stories, texts, and art of its people.
**Kelly Karre** — designed a senior living residence in Philadelphia that implemented strategies cultivating autonomy, as well as social and environmental engagement.
**Kirsten Lee** — designed a transitional sanctuary for asylum seekers in Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico. The project sought to provide resources for migrants in limbo while integrating educational opportunities and community volunteer programs.
**Brayden Roth** — designed senior living housing in San Antonio that reimagined current facilities and addressed issues of placelessness, intergenerational connection, and the transition from independent living to skilled nursing care.
Congratulations to Rachel Hoogland for receiving this year’s Thesis Librarium Award!
