A study abroad experience is one of the most impactful parts of the HSA curriculum.

This past spring, two groups of third-year students traveled to Paris, France, and Rome, Italy, where they immersed themselves in a variety of courses, including design studio. Along the way, they explored iconic historical sites they had spent their first two years studying in the classroom, bringing their architectural education to life through firsthand experience.

Fusion First Day was a success! We had the pleasure of welcoming our incoming first-year students and their families to campus as they explored our studio spaces, viewed student work, and connected with current students and faculty.

On June 4, 2026, SARA NY celebrated its 31st Design Awards at The New Yorker Hotel. This year’s awards recognized 48 professional firms and 24 students from across the country and around the world for excellence in architecture and allied design disciplines, including our own TRACI SOOTER for her work with our design-build students on The Giving Hub.
