Big news for the Guy Lee family! 🏆✨

On Thursday evening, our very own Melissa Kruse was recognized by the City of Springfield as the 2025 Community Leader of the Year.

Melissa was selected for her tireless work in envisioning and coordinating the Guy Lee PTO's annual AANHPI Celebration, an event that has truly become a cornerstone of our community. She is a powerhouse for inclusion and connection, not just here at Guy Lee, but across all of Springfield.

K–12 students enrolled in Springfield Public Schools are invited to Project Hope—a one-day event where they can pick up new shoes, socks, backpacks, and school supplies to get ready for the school year!

🎟 Ticket reservations begin Monday, August 18 at 7:00 a.m.

❗️Every student must have a ticket and be present at the event to receive supplies. Only students enrolled in Springfield K–12 schools are eligible. Unfortunately, supplies and shoe sizes are not available for pre-K students.
