If there's ever been a week I was reminded about the importance of housing in people's lives - this it it.

Ian has not only taken lives – it has also displaced families, uprooted the old and the young, and demolished communities.

Eventually, funds will be dispersed and insurance claims will be paid. At that point our real estate community will be in the critical path helping to relocate some and rebuild for others.

Unfortunately though, the lives lost are permanent. My thoughts this week are with all those who have been impacted.
