Our mission-all participants will discover a deeper understanding of what is said in the Bible, what was meant, and how to apply that to their lives today by traveling to the land or engaging w/ resources. MISSION - To equip believers to understand and apply the Bible through its culture, history, land, and spirit. STRATEGY - You will discover a deeper understanding of what was said in the Bible

and what the authors meant, through our resources, Bible-focused study tours, and partnerships with academic universities and institutions. Our study tours are hosted by a highly qualified tour guide, and a Bible teacher or ministry leader. Together, they bring the Bible to life right before your eyes as you visit authentic historical sites and explore them through the four-part CHLS approach:

Culture - Discover, in original context, how the culture and language of the biblical story are interwoven in ancient society and daily life. History - Find out what was said and done, and what was meant by it, in the biblical and historical context. Land - See geographic landscapes come to life, allowing the land to have its own narrative in Scripture and the biblical story, and is as much a character itself as any person in the text. Spirit - Explore the common beliefs of the biblical time period, and how the spiritual climate impacts our understanding of the story.Our Vision:
That all believers will understand the Bible and grow in their faith and love for God. CHLS wants you to Experience God through the Lands of the Bible, whether you are with us in the Lands of the Bible or sitting at home on your couch!

There’s something meaningful about returning. 🇮🇱

After a difficult season, CHLS is returning to Israel with hope, prayer, responsibility, and great anticipation for what God will do.

The land remains deeply connected to the story of scripture, and we’re excited to walk it again, open the Bible together, and experience the story in a whole new way.

Why does Israel matter to Christians?

Because our faith is rooted in a real story, in a real place, with real people. Jesus walked the roads. Prophets spoke, the disciples followed Jesus, and the early Church began here.

Israel doesn’t replace scripture. It helps us understand scripture.

That’s why we believe experiencing the land can deepen the way we read, teach and live the Bible.

And, with that the 2026 Bible Lands Experience comes to an end. Over the last 19 days, students traveled through Ancient Greece and Turkey. Stepping out of their classrooms and into the world of the New Testament. Thank you to all that supported these students financially and through prayer! These days, experiences, and learning, not only impact these students in the here now, but will impact God‘s kingdom through the next generations!
