Happy National Coming Out Day!
27 years ago, on the anniversary of the National March on Washington for Le***an and Gay Rights, we first observed National Coming Out Day as a reminder that one of our most basic tools is the power of coming out. One out of every two Americans has someone close to them who is gay or le***an. For transgender people, that number is only one in 10.
Here's to all those who are out, thinking about coming out, or those who can't.

We're happy to announce our Fall 2015 hours!

The Resource Room has been my home for 4 years and has influenced me in more ways than I could have imagined. I'll miss the work I do in the RR and can only hope it continues to be as awesome as it's grown to be.

The GLBTQA Resource Room just purchased some awesome new books! Here's a few of them! All resources are available for all WNE members to check out.

This is the last chance to fill the 10 hour per week work-study position for the GLBTQA Resource Room! I am preferably looking for a current first year student or sophomore who will stay with the job for a while so the Resource Room has stability. Please email me if you are interested by May 1st. If no one is interested, I will be reaching out to the incoming freshman class.

Hi all,

Since I am graduating, the GLBTQA Resource Room is looking for a new work study position (10 hours per week). I've been working there since my freshman year and the job entails putting on events (movie nights, crafts, discussions, etc.), keeping the room up to date in terms of materials (books, DVDs, pamphlets) and holding office hours. You will also act as a resource for students, staff and faculty who have any questions or need advice related to q***r issues. If you are interested, please contact me with any questions you have.
