What a fantastic way to wrap up band camp! 🎶🎢💛🖤

The Pride of Shawnee had an AWESOME day performing and enjoying some well-deserved fun at Kings Island! The weather ended up being perfect, and the day was filled with lots of laughs, smiles, and memories made together.

After two weeks of hard work, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate! We’re so proud of these students and can’t wait for an incredible season ahead! 💛🖤🎶

Unfortunately, the weather has not been on our side this week! 🌧️

Due to the weather and current field conditions, Meet the Band Night has been moved indoors to the SHS South Gym and will begin at 7:00 PM tonight! Please note that the family cookout has been cancelled.

We hope you’ll still join us tonight to support The Pride of Shawnee and see all of the incredible hard work our students have put in over the past several weeks! 💛🖤🎶

🎶💛 Week 1 of Band Camp is in the books! 🖤🎶

What an incredible first week for The Pride of Shawnee! Our students worked hard, pushed through the heat, and made some AMAZING progress. We officially have our entire halftime show on the field! 🙌

Next week, we’re keeping that momentum going as we begin putting pregame on the field and continue cleaning and polishing halftime!

We are so proud of the hard work, energy, and dedication these students brought to camp this week. The 2026 season is already shaping up to be something special! 💛🖤

What an incredible week of Pre-Camp! 🎶💛🖤

The Pride of Shawnee is off to an amazing start, and we couldn’t be more excited about what this season has in store. The hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm our students have already shown make the future incredibly bright!

Join us for our first performance of the season at Meet the Band Night on Thursday, August 13, at 5:00 PM. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on and kick off what is sure to be a fantastic season. Go Braves!

The Pride of Shawnee is officially back in action! 🎶💛🖤

We had an incredible first night of Pre-Camp and are excited to keep the momentum going tonight. The energy, enthusiasm, and dedication are already shining through, and we can’t wait to see what this season has in store. It’s going to be an amazing year!

Our Color Guard and Drumline have been hard at work this week learning all the halftime music and choreo! Looking forward to Pre-Camp starting next week with the full band!

Last night, we held our 1st Annual Color Guard Youth Camp, and what an incredible evening it was! Our elementary students joined members of The Pride of Shawnee Marching Band and Color Guard for a fun and memorable experience.

Camp participants learned the basics of color guard, worked alongside our high school students, and even learned a routine to 7 Nation Army. We are so proud of all their hard work and enthusiasm!

Be on the lookout for these future Braves as they join us for pregame and perform their routine this fall. We can’t wait to see them shine on the field!

Today, The Pride of Shawnee Marching Band was honored to participate in the Memorial Day Parade as we joined our community in remembering and honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

We were also glad to have Captain Kuhn aboard today to help lead The Pride of Shawnee through the streets of Springfield. Thankfully, our captain kept the band sailing in the right direction all parade long! 🪊🥁🎺⚓️

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the parade and our students. We are proud to represent Shawnee and our community today and every day. 🖤💛
