VA processing disability claims for certain conditions related to particulate matter:

VA is now processing disability claims for asthma, rhinitis and sinusitis on a presumptive basis based on particulate matter exposures during military service in Southwest Asia and certain other areas – if these conditions manifested within 10 years of a qualifying period of military service.

This will expand benefits for Veterans who served in:

Afghanistan, Djibouti, Syria, and Uzbekistan during the Persian Gulf War, from September 19, 2001, to the present, or
The Southwest Asia theater of operations from August 2, 1990, to the present
If you have a pending claim for one or more of these conditions, you don’t need to do anything. We’ll send you a decision notice when we complete our review.

For more information on the new presumptive conditions, visit our website at Airborne Hazards and Burn Pit Exposures - Public Health (va.gov).

To apply for benefits, Veterans and survivors may visit VA.gov or call toll-free at 800-827-1000

Just wanted to get this out there for as many people as possible. This way you know about taking the p/np and how it could affect your go bill. Don't want to have to pay stuff off that could be avoided.

Attention veterans, spouses and family members using veterans’ education benefits with regards to COVID-19:
• The government is in the process of having a law signed that will continue GI Bill payments in the event of national emergencies. The new law allows for the VA to continue to pay benefits regardless of the fact that the program has changed from resident training to online training. Also students will continue to receive the same monthly housing allowance payments that they received for resident training until Jan 1, 2021 or until the school resumes normal operations of resident training.
• We anticipate no interruptions in your GI Bill educational benefits if the bill is passed successfully.
• You can find VA updates on the following links:

Just wanted to put this out there for everyone that could be looking for a job or needs help finding a job. This is in Branson, missouri that day but would be really worth the trip if you can make it.

I just wanted to tell everyone to be safe out there with this bad weather. If anyone needs anything just let us know and we will see what we can do. We have to make sure to take care of each other and always keep spirits high.
