The mission of Preschool Academy is to strengthen and uplift low-income families by developing a Christ-centered and family-focused partnership. We feel this is cultivated by establishing an environment built on a strong Biblical foundation. According to the 2015 Springfield Missouri Community Focus Report, “kindergarten readiness” and “funding instability” are “red flags” in our community for ear

ly childhood. The report indicated that 28% of children in Springfield are not prepared for kindergarten, a 40% increase since 2010. This is attributed to a number of factors, the most significant being poverty. In addition, there is no preschool funding or state assistance available for low income/unemployed families. Springfield Public School Superintendent, Dr. John Jungmann, has mentioned that he feels “one of the biggest needs is finding ways to offer education opportunities to preschool age children who are from low income/unemployed families.”

It will take you to a pre-screening questionairre that will get submitted to our team for review. We look forward to serving your family!
