We are so grateful that Dante took time out of his busy schedule to visit TES, connect with our students, and spread such a positive message. This Friday, May 22, is an early release day for all students.

Elementary students will be released at 12:30 p.m.
Middle and high school students will be released at 1:15 p.m.
Lunch will be served as usual.
Bus riders will be dropped off at their bus stops 2 hours and 20 minutes earlier than their regular time.

*This does not apply to A3, The Academy of Arts & Academics, which has its own calendar.

Our jog-a-thon was a success on Friday! Our cheetahs ran and walked to help raise funds for our school. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and to all the volunteers!

We’re celebrating some amazing student achievement at Thurston Elementary! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Mrs. Orme’s 5th graders and Mrs. Federico’s 4th graders for meeting our schoolwide goal—80% or more of students hit their typical growth goal on the i-Ready winter diagnostic! That’s a big deal and a reflection of their hard work and dedication.

To help celebrate, Track Town Pizza generously donated 3 free pizzas and provided a very kind discount—thank you for supporting our students and community!

🆘️Family Fun Night Volunteers Needed!!

We are in great need for Family Fun Night parent/community volunteers. We are 2 weeks away (Friday May 8th) from the event and have 6 volunteers signed up. We need at least 100 volunteers to make this event a possibility! We have one more week to hit this number before we have to reconsider holding the event.

Thank you for your time and support!! This year's FFN will help pay for a lower height basketball hoop for our younger students as well as our normal activities such as assemblies, field trips, curriculum, equipment, and classroom stipends.
