Preparing students for what’s next takes more than talking about the future—it takes giving them opportunities to experience it.

Thank you to Western New England University, a Gold Sponsor, for helping students engage in hands-on learning that builds confidence, collaboration, financial know-how, and real-world readiness.

Together with partners across Western Massachusetts, we are helping students become confident, capable, and connected today so they can access opportunity-filled futures tomorrow. We’re grateful to Western New England University for being part of that work.

🍂🍽️ Join us for our second public tour of the year at the Springfield Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility on Bondi’s Island!

With holiday cooking season approaching, it’s a great time to be thankful for the sewer system that keeps our communities running smoothly. See how wastewater is treated after it leaves your home and learn a few simple ways to protect your pipes (and your wastewater treatment plant!), especially from those holiday Fats, Oil, and Grease (FOG)!

📅 Tuesday, November 3
⏰ 10 a.m.–12 p.m.
📍 250 M Street Extension, Agawam, MA

Before you arrive:
👟 Wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes
🚶 Be prepared for lots of walking
👦 Attendees must be age 8 or older

Learn more and find tour details at waterandsewer.org/tour/. We hope to see you there!
