📢 NEW ATTENDANCE COMMUNICATION TOOL STARTING MONDAY! 📱💙💛

Springfield Public Schools is making it easier for families and schools to stay connected about student attendance!

Starting Monday, when your student has an unexplained absence, parents/guardians will receive a text message with important attendance information.

📲 What you need to know:
✅ You can reply directly to the text to communicate with the school.
🌎 The tool is multilingual, making communication easier for more families.
📞 Please make sure your child’s school has your current phone number on file.

📣 ATTENDANCE UPDATE FOR SVS FAMILIES

Hello Springfield Virtual School Families! 💙

We are asking for your patience and understanding as we begin using a new attendance communication system on Monday, August 31st. This new tool is designed to make it easier and more convenient for families to communicate with us when a student has an unexplained absence.

📱 Here’s how it will work:
When your child has an unexplained absence, you will receive a text message asking about the absence. Families will be able to reply directly to the text to provide information about the absence.

🌎 The new system is multilingual, making it easier for families to communicate with their school about attendance.

Because this is a new system, we may experience a few bumps or glitches as we get started. We appreciate your patience as we learn the new process and work to make it as smooth as possible for everyone.

📌 Please make sure your contact information is up to date with Springfield Virtual School so that you can receive these important attendance messages.

✨ Day 2 of Professional Development was all about connection, collaboration, and building strong 💪🏼 relationships!

We focused on the importance of making meaningful connections with families and strengthening communication and partnerships that support the success 🏆 of every child. We also had a great time participating in team-building activities that reminded us of the power of working together, supporting one another, and celebrating 🎉our strengths as a team.
