Miss Monica's learn&play day-care

Miss Monica's boy bunch had our first boys bowling 🎳 bash@ Victory Lanes Commerce Dr . It was quite impressive watching these boys knock those pins over [5 of the 8 had never bowled before]. We started out with the ball slide and ended with throwing/rolling/gliding 😆😅🤣😂the ball down the lanes. These boys are competitive,.strong,.&,I foresee PBA capabilities in their future.

Having mommy and daddy there was extra special and we enjoyed making memories together ❤️

We LOVE summer so much... After the 🌧️ subsided we made it outside to play.
We learned
Dirt + rain = MUD
A lil dirt don't hurt!.
We also had an impromptu surprise show and tell; Hunter brought in a surprise for us to see, touch, talk about and guess what it is.
We took our little friend back to his new home and he/she was pretty excited to find some new friends to hang out with 🐢

It's been a BUSY week! Not only have we learned out our flag, veterans, the armed services, and memorial day....but we ALSO did some gardening 👨‍🌾🍅🌱🥕🥒we will be anxiously awaiting the seeds to sprouts...can't wait to see the growing process. We still have pumpkin 🎃 seeds , sunflower 🌻 seeds and sweet corn 🌽 to plant... but....!!!
We've already successfully grown green grass!

We got to meet a real veteran!
We finished out our Memorial day focus with a special visit from Mr Kenny. He was in the Air Force and we learned he got to shoot missiles, bombs and big guns. He had short hair while he served in the Air Force and couldn't have a beard. Today, Mr Kenny drives veterans around to appointments because they can no longer drive. We said the pledge of allegiance and sang a song ; I'm in the Lord's army. We thank Mr Kenny for coming to visit us and teaching us about his special job. ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

This week has been all about learning about our flag of the United States of America 🇺🇸 [USA]. We learned the flag has:
●50 stars [1 for each state];
■Red and white stripes that are a pattern
*Betsy Ross made the first flag
●Our flag used to only have 13 stars on it in the shape of a circle instead of a square
■the colors on our flag are red,.white and blue
We also learned what Memorial day is all about.
Miss Monica let us watch a special show that explained all about the national holiday.
Yesterday, we had a yummy "picnic lunch " with hotdogs 🌭, smile fries and craisins.
Yesterday, we also got to visit miss Monica's special red, white and blue bedroom and learn about a MIA and POW soldier and see a picture of her grandpa when he was a soldier!
Craft: we used crepe paper for red stripes,.white cardstock and made a flag complete with 3 blue paint stars.
Today! We had a fun lunch with:

Star 🌟 chicken nuggets and tater tots and red, white and blue fresh fruit. [Strawberries,.bananas and blackberries].
