We loved welcoming our students back to The Springs today! There were so many smiles, and excitement filled the air as children reunited with friends, settled into their classrooms, and began exploring their prepared environments. It was wonderful to see them already engaged in meaningful work, learning, and discovery. 💙

We can’t wait to see all the growth, curiosity, and joy this new school year will bring. Welcome back, Springs families! ✨

Our rising Kindergarten and Elementary students had an unforgettable day at the zoo this week! 🐼🦒✨

Through observation, exploration, and hands-on experiences, the children deepened their understanding of the natural world while following their curiosity and wonder.

There is no substitute for hands-on experiences! 🌿

Today, the children welcomed some very special visitors from and had the opportunity to meet an amazing variety of animals, including corn snakes, pythons, bearded dragons, lizards, and even an iguana! They observed each animal up close, learned fascinating facts, and, with gentle guidance and respect, had the chance to touch many of them. Their curiosity, courage, and confidence were on full display.

In a Montessori environment, we believe meaningful learning happens through real-life experiences. Connecting with the natural world helps children develop empathy, respect for living things, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. It was wonderful to watch their excitement and sense of wonder grow with every new discovery.

A big thank you to Raging Reptiles for bringing such an unforgettable learning experience to our school! 🦎🐍💚

Car Wash Day is always one of the highlights of Summer Camp! 🚗🧽💦

The children had the best time working together to scrub, rinse, splash, and laugh their way through one of our favorite summer traditions at The Springs 💙

In true Montessori fashion, this activity is so much more than just fun. Car washing is a wonderful practical life experience that gives children the opportunity to care for their environment, work collaboratively, and build independence. The different textures, temperatures, sounds, and movements also engage the senses, making it a rich sensorial experience as children scrub, squeeze, pour, and rinse.

Thank you to all of our families who trusted our car wash crew with their vehicles! 🚗🧽☀️

🌎✨ Children's House International Festival ✨🌎

A beautiful way to conclude our Around the World themed week! Our Children's House classrooms put together a wonderful presentation featuring traditional dances, fun facts, cultural artifacts, and beautiful clothing from countries around the globe. 🌍💃

Through music, movement, storytelling, and cultural exploration, our students celebrated the diversity that makes our world so unique. They learned to appreciate different cultures while developing a deeper understanding of the global community we are all a part of 💙

Our morning was full of smiles, laughter, and so much fun for our odd-numbered Classrooms! The children enjoying spraying water, throwing water balloons, running through sprinklers, and splashing on the splash pad.

Water Day is truly is one of the best days of Summer Camp!
