Sometimes taking piano lessons isn't just learning how to play or to read music. It's important to find an instructor that meets the needs of the student.

●Does your child have trouble with listening or sitting still? A patient teacher is what they need.

●How about a child that loves music but isn't ready yet to learn? A teacher that includes music appreciation into the lesson is the right choice.

●A child that is on the spectrum or non verbal? An instructor with experience or knowledge would be a great fit for a child who needs accommodations.

When looking for an instructor, don't be shy in asking those kind of questions. Setting up your child for success begins with the first phone call. I'm ready to answer your questions!

My students had a blast at Music Fun Day today! It was 4 hours of music appreciation & theory, presented in a fun way. Thank you, parents, for allowing me the opportunity to be part of their musical journey! Now time for a nap... 😁

I'm so excited for our annual Music Fun Day tomorrow!!
Please have your child wear sneakers and put sunscreen on. Have them bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and also a bagged lunch.
We'll be playing lots of games that include music theory, rhythm and sight reading. Also, back by demand.... a music escape room!!

Super smile from a super student! Wow, another lesson book passed. This one took 9 months because he decided he wanted extra time perfecting the lessons in this book. When I was ready to slap a sticker and pass a song, this student looked at me with great determination and asked if he could spend another week on it. I'm so proud of your progress and your willingness to move at your own pace, even though I would think otherwise! 🎶 🎵
