🎉 Scholarship Spotlight 🎉

Congratulations to Lanphier students Brooklyn Joiner and A’Tyla Jones-Shephard on being selected as recipients of the Black Lives Matter Scholarship!

As part of the scholarship application process, students were asked to write an essay about a member of the Black community who has made a meaningful impact on their lives.

✨ Brooklyn chose Senator Doris Turner, highlighting her leadership, advocacy, and commitment to serving the community.

✨ A’Tyla wrote about Dr. Erica Austin, recognizing her influence, dedication, and positive impact on others.

We are incredibly proud of these young women for their thoughtful reflections, outstanding writing, and well-deserved achievement!

Another Lion is off to college with a scholarship for sports! Congratulations Kendall Barnes for signing with Heartland Community College for esports!

Attention all girls interested in LHS Volleyball!

We are starting June 8th, Monday, Wednesday, & Thursdays in the gym for hands-on volleyball training, and Tuesday for weightlifting only. So, Monday-Thursday,
9 am-11:30 am.
