Our summer starts with a celebration of another incredible milestone by one of our students!

Congratulations to Agustya Adhyam on achieving a USCF rating over 2000 and becoming a USCF Expert. A fantastic accomplishment that reflects years of hard work, dedication, and support from his family.

A special congratulations as well to his coach of several years, Coach Luis Bonilla.

Agustya's journey is also a wonderful reminder that the relationship between a coach and a student is about much more than ratings. Coach Luis, a USCF Class A player (1800+), has played an instrumental role in helping Agustya continue to grow—even beyond his coach's own rating.

Great coaching isn't about being rated higher than your student forever. It's about understanding how to teach, inspire, guide, and help a player reach their full potential.

Congratulations again to Agustya, Coach Luis, and the entire family. We can't wait to see what comes next!
