It's the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima - which, for the past couple years, has been our school's day to celebrate crowning Mary as the Queen of May! πΉ Our May Crowning took place right after the morning Mass today, and was very well-attended.
"The queen symbol was attributed to Mary," said St. Pope John Paul II, "because she was a perfect follower of Christ, who is the absolute βcrownβ of creation. She is the Mother of the Son of God, who is the messianic King. Mary is the Mother of Christ, the Word Incarnateβ¦Mary is the perfect follower of Christ. ...Thus, in an eminent way, she won the βcrown of righteousness,β βthe crown of life,β βthe crown of gloryβ that is promised to those who follow Christ.β π

One of the great extra-curricular activities that our school has offered is involvement in the area "Irish Voices" choir, which had its Spring performance this past weekend at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. π΅ We love seeing our students displaying their talents!
Thank you, Holy Trinity, for hosting - and thanks, as always, to Mrs. Gray for leading this choir!
