We are so excited to have a new guitar and ukulele instructor join our team at Elements! This means we will have more fun and encouraging music lessons for our wonderful music community!
Check out Noah Ward’s bio below:
Noah Ward is a music educator, guitarist, and composer from Cincinnati, Ohio. He started his career as a professional musician at Sinclair Community College, where he studied with Danny Voris. After earning his Associates in Music at Sinclair, Noah moved on to studying with Clare Callahan and Chris Wilke at the University of Cincinnati, where he earned both a Bachelors and Masters degree in classical guitar performance. He has participated in master classes with musicians such as Paul O’Dette, Cristiano Porqueddu, Oscar Ghiglia, and Frank Wallace.
Currently, Noah directs the classical guitar program at Sinclair Community College. He also teaches at Elements Music Studio and the Wyoming Fine Arts Center. In addition to teaching, Noah gigs occasionally and composes music for the guitar. In his free time, he enjoys coffee, discovering new music, and hiking with his fiancée. When teaching, Noah makes it a priority to identify each student’s interests and structures their lessons based on what they want to learn.
Here is his favorite music quote:
“It’s not the note you play that’s the wrong note – it’s the note you play afterwards that makes it right or wrong.” - Miles Davis
