A few weeks ago, our Rick's Place families had the opportunity to visit the ceramics studio at Springfield College for a special hands-on workshop!

Children and adult caregivers were invited to create a piece of their choice. We saw everything from mugs and vases to birdhouses, whimsical creatures, and many other unique creations.

Over the course of two and a half hours, the Springfield College art faculty and staff introduced participants to the fundamentals of working with clay while providing encouragement and guidance as each person brought their unique vision to life.

We are so grateful for our collaborative partnership with the Springfield College Art Department, whose generosity and support have enriched our programs over the last several years. Thank you for another wonderful experience for our families!

The Springfield College Police Department is asking students, faculty, and staff of Springfield College who reside in the areas of Monson, Massachusetts, and Stafford, Connecticut, to remain vigilant while crews continue searching for 16 year old Mateo.

Mateo was last seen walking towards Connecticut in the Moulton Hill neighborhood with his two dogs, Hayze and Stout. Crews are asking area residents to avoid conducting searches themselves; however, they are asking residents to check cameras, their property, outbuildings, and cameras.

If you have any information, please call Westcomm Regional Dispatch or dial 911.
