It’s the end of the year!!
This last week has been a big one for cello club! We had our joint violin-cello studio recital, our cellist Margaret had a solo fundraising recital, (we will miss you next year!!) an end of the year studio dinner, and our final orchestra concert! Thank you to all that helped/participated with these events! Congratulations to our cellists for another semester in the books!

Anticipate the Move—Play Ahead of the Panic 🎻 Everything gets easier when you’re early. Before the note happens, set the left-hand frame, float the bow to the next contact point, and arrive—then play. Think one note ahead: shift while the old note still rings, prepare string crossings during the sustain, and let the bow speed/weight change before the attack. This simple habit removes panic accents, cleans up shifts, and makes the line feel inevitable.
