GREAT program aims to foster an environment that is international in teaching, research and service, and to develop global academic collaboration opportunities.

2022 GREAT Conference Proposal Call!

We are welcoming proposals for the 2022 GREAT Conference featuring the theme: Building intercultural competence through high impact student experiences.

We hope to hear your wisdom on:
· Classroom experience
· Education/Internship abroad
· International virtual exchange or other online learning
· International research
· Service/Community learning
· On-campus support and advocacy services
· Diversity/Global learning
· Other student experiences

Proposal submission deadline: Sep. 30, 2022
Conference Date: Nov. 10, 2022

A GREAT lunch and conversation on global engagement with the MSU faculty and staff today. Thank our two amazing speakers: Elizabeth Strong (Director, Office of Education Abroad) and Dr. Leslie Seawright (Associate Professor, English Department, and recipient of the GREAT International Virtual Exchange Grant). Appreciation also goes to Dr. Juan Meraz (Assistant VP for Diversity and Inclusion) and Brad Bodenhausen (Associate VP International Education and Training, International Programs) for their sponsorship and support. We look forward to the next GREAT Brown Bag Lunch on April 27 with Dean Barri Tinkler (College of Education) to learn more about the Fulbright Grant!
