Happy 15th birthday to our friends at Care to Learn! We’ve known you since you were just a baby. In the spirit of incubating this seed of an idea, the CFO provided the initial office space and administrative support to nurture Care to Learn in those early days. Then you grew and grew into your own 501(c)3 and moved into a bigger office space with your own great team. We are so glad our partnership continues to help CTL focus on your mission to support kids’ health, hunger and hygiene needs. We are proud to celebrate this milestone with you and eager to see what your future holds!

Haven't had much time to post any updates... We've been so busy!

Been spending lots of time outside playing. They all had fun having water balloon fights and playing in the rain last week.

Blessings! And prayers answered last minute as always. Somehow the universe & God always provide!

One of my daycare momma's has come to the rescue... WE WILL NOT BE CLOSING TOMORROW!!!

I do however ask that since this is a new worker even tho the kids know her (just not as an authority running the daycare way) that you discuss that Ms. Melissa is in charge and they need to be respectful and follow directions and be big helpers.

I'm so grateful to her for be willing to help me in a bind. I really do have the best daycare families here! This woman has been a sole support at times and helped me in ways that without her support I would've given up (well maybe... I don't give up) but still she is such a blessing to have.

Thank you Melissa! 💜💜💜💜

Best part... I GET TO SEE MY LUKE! Well her Luke lol but he's such a good kid and big helper

I am so sorry I'm having to make this post but due too having no backup tomorrow Monday May 18th I have no choice but to close for the entire day. I have an appointment that I cannot miss and my current back up is unavailable. And I have noone else to watch the daycare or even my 2 children while I am attending this.

I'm so sorry to my daycare kids and families as I've never had to close unexpectedly before. I'm still trying to find someone who can watch my 2 children for me as well.

3 days a week you will be asked to supervise children at play. I'm looking for someone that is fun but can also follow our daily routine, make sure diapers are clean and the children have structure and capable of discipline if bad decisions are made. Asking for light housework duties as well. (Dishes/sweep/mop/ clean playroom everyday)

Know CPR/1st aide

Be available on call as well

This position is volunteer however I can offer some daily compensation ($75wk)

Alrighty!! Sorry for the lack of posts lately, had to reset this finicky phone!

Our updates!!!

Nothing has really changed other than some minor illness (sinus infection...I PROMISE & back flare up)

Thank you to everyone who has beared with me this past week or so. Think I'm on the uphill slope as of now.

We didn't have lessons or our usual craft time this past week, I'm sure the kiddos were horribly disappointed about the lack of structure and routine we had. (NOT...lol)

This week we will be completing our mothers day gifts, so so sorry they weren't on time!

As of this morning I'm making sure we are back on schedule.

As a reminder:
Drop off shoes are taken off at door, hand sanitizer
9am) breakfast
9:30am) clean up
10:30am) lesson/craft
11am) free play
12:30pm) lunch
1pm) nap/rest time
3/3:30pm) wakeup & snack
4pm) mindfulness/ music & movement
4:30pm) clean up & movie time until pick up

I will start posting weekly lesson & crafts themes and I'm hoping to make this an interactive experience on here with everyone. My lesson & craft helper I'm hoping will be able too brain storm some ideas with me.

I hope everyone has a great week and again I thank everyone for their continued support as always and for enjoying the posts and pics of our kiddos!
