Hi friends. Sandburg Elementary’s fantastic principal is retiring this May after 34 years of service to Sandburg (teaching 4th grade and then as principal). To celebrate his tenure we are collecting photos (digital or if you only have hard copies I can scan and return) stories, letters, and mementos from his time there to surprise him with a memory book. If you are one of his former Sandburg students, a parent of a current or former student, or know a current or former student/family/colleague would you consider helping or sharing? Please reach out to me for more details if needed!

Happy Friday Sandburg supporters! We've gotten word from the Sandburg parent educator that some of the school's youngest learners are in need of school appropriate clothes, especially now that weather is cooling down. If you can help provide for these little ones, youth sized school clothes or donations to purchase some would be most appreciated. I would be happy to be the go between and pick up/ drop off if needed. Thank you!

Hooray! Mr. Deaton's Donor's Choose project was fully funded last night! There are still a few other Sandburg projects if you're looking to support the school.
