Welcome to the team, Miss Brinkman! Miss Brinkman will be teaching 1st Grade in the fall.

Hello! My name is Olivia Brinkman, and I'm so excited to start teaching 1st grade at McGregor this upcoming year! I'm looking forward to returning to my hometown for my first year of teaching. I can't wait to meet the first grade team, the staff, and of course, the kiddos!

Outside of school, you may find me hanging out with or walking my dog, Crosby, in the Chick-fil-a drive through, traveling, going out with friends, hanging out with my family, or at a fun coffee shop. I also love going to concerts and staying active!

August can't come soon enough. I look forward to meeting all of you, and I'm so glad that I get to continue on my journey as a tiger!

Welcome to the team, Mrs. Edgar! Mrs. Edgar will be teaching 3rd grade this fall.

Mrs. Edgar has 19 years of experience as a teacher and loves creating lessons that help students really connect with what they’re learning. She’s always growing as an educator and brings new ideas into her classroom through fun, hands-on, and themed experiences. She has taught both elementary and middle school, and has experience in curriculum leadership and coaching, always focusing on helping students succeed.

At home, she’s been married for 28 years and is a proud mom of four grown children and grandmother to three. She enjoys time with her three we**ie dogs, hiking, and exploring new adventures whenever she can.

Welcome to the team, Dr. Martinez! Dr. Martinez will be teaching 5th grade ELA this fall.

Dr. Rejane Martinez is a seasoned educator with nearly 27 years of experience and a "tech wizard" reputation, but her true North Star has always been the students. While she holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and has led state-level technology initiatives, her favorite place to be is in the classroom, sparking "aha!" moments. She believes that every child can learn, every child can love to read, and every child determines where their path will lead. After years of coaching teachers and designing digital curricula, Rejane is thrilled to be returning to her roots as a classroom teacher in Missouri—the state where her husband grew up.

Known for her sharp sense of humor and her ability to make any student feel seen, Rejane’s teaching philosophy is built on building relationships first. Outside of the classroom, she is a proud mother of two grown children and a doting grandmother to four granddaughters and 5 grandsons. She brings a "grandmother’s heart" and a "tech-pro’s brain" to the classroom, ensuring every child she teaches is prepared for the future and supported in the present.

Our Tiger teachers started a new traveling trophy tradition today! This amazing group were the first recognized and get the honor of passing their trophies along to a new recipient in the fall.

We celebrated Mrs. Allen's upcoming retirement today! We are so glad she chose to spend the final years of her career with us!
