John M. Wilson Center closing out Community Connections 2026 with s'mores on McClean Terrace as a way to unwind before the start of NSO tomorrow. CC mentors helped coach the first years on the chants and cheers that are such a big part of orientation at Springfield College.

SC International Center welcomed new international students and scholars with a BBQ and bingo in Alumni Hall. It was an opportunity for the newest members of our international campus to meet returning scholars, faculty and staff.
Also honored were Prof. Zhang (John) Liu and librarian Cathy Xu for their years of support in making the Springfield College campus welcoming for all.

We had a lot of fun this afternoon with new students taking part in John M. Wilson Center Community Connections! We toured the city of Springfield to learn about its rich history and the diversity of cultures and perspectives that make this place such a rich environment in which to learn live, and grow. (We also had a pretty good lunch)

We had a lot of fun outside the Brown-Cooper Health Sciences Center today grilling up dogs for a pop-up study break for our and students working hard in classes this summer. New Dean of Health Sciences, Dr. Pisano, stopped by to meet students and have a hot dog.
