What a fantastic night welcoming our Shiloh family back to campus for our Back-to-School Extravaganza!

We opened with worship led by our students, followed by an encouraging message from our leadership team. As Shiloh Christian enters its 50th year, Dr. Keith McDaniel shared a powerful reminder of who we are, what we believe, and where we stand. An excerpt from his message is below:

“Parents, I want you to know exactly where Shiloh stands.
We will stand firmly on the authority of Scripture.

We will unapologetically teach biblical truth.

We will love every student deeply while never
compromising God’s Word.
Our commitment is not only to prepare and equip
students to launch into college or careers.

Our greater calling is to prepare them to stand
courageously for Christ wherever God leads them.

Whether they become doctors, engineers, teachers,
entrepreneurs, or pastors, we want them to enter the
world equipped to be salt and light.

We want them to engage culture—not be shaped by it.

As we begin this new school year and celebrate fifty
remarkable years, I want to invite every family into
something bigger than simply attending school.”

That shared calling set the tone for an incredible evening—and for the exciting year ahead. Families then headed out to meet their teachers and shop at the Spirit Store!

Adventure is better together.

Today, our faculty and staff got to choose their own adventure—axe throwing, mechanical bull riding, watercolor painting, horseshoes, custom embroidered bandanas, and plenty of laughs along the way.

These moments of connection matter. Before classrooms fill and routines begin, we take time to invest in one another because a strong team creates an even stronger community for our students.

Next stop: Back to School Extravaganza! 🎉 We can't wait to welcome our Shiloh family back to campus tomorrow night and officially kick off an incredible 2026–2027 school year. Let the adventure begin!

This week the Shiloh men’s golf team traveled to Mountain Home to play two-day match against some of Arkansas’ top high school teams. They finished 5th overall and were led by Senior, Holden Deweese who shot +5 for the 36 holes and finished in a tie for second out of sixty-two other players.

The Saints look forward to getting back on the course in two weeks when they begin conference play on Tuesday, August 18th

Role reversal in Champions Hall today! Our secondary teachers filled the seats as their colleagues led professional development sessions on key classroom practices:

Congratulations to the Allen siblings on an incredible day of racing in West Chester, Ohio—a suburb of Cincinnati—on Saturday, August 1!

In the Youth Elite Female Draft-Legal race (ages 13–15)—a 400m swim, 10K bike and 1.5-mile run:

Kaelyn (9th Grade) — 1st place, leading wire-to-wire!
Elizabeth (9th Grade) — 2nd place
Briana (9th Grade) — 7th place

In the Junior Elite Male Draft-Legal race (ages 16–19)—an 800m swim, 20K bike and 5K run:

Brice (Sophomore) — 4th place

An incredible showing by all four Allen siblings. So proud of their hard work and strong finishes!

Shiloh staff is back on campus and ready to kick off the 2026–27 school year!

Our in-service week theme is “The Great Adventure,” and today was a great start! Staff heard from Dr. Keith McDaniel about the vision and mission of Shiloh Christian School for the school year and beyond, followed by an encouraging message from Cross Church Senior Pastor Dr. Nick Floyd.

A special thank-you to the Cross Church Next Gen staff for treating everyone to lunch! As the largest ministry of Cross Church, Shiloh Christian is grateful for our strong partnership and shared commitment to impacting the next generation for Christ.

The 2026-2027 Great Adventure begins now, Shiloh Family!

Today, our Middle School and Secondary classroom teachers are learning more about the Harkness approach to teaching and learning. Through student-centered discussion, Harkness encourages students to think critically, ask meaningful questions, communicate clearly, and learn by listening to one another.

As Christian educators, our goal extends beyond helping students know the right answers. We want to equip them to think deeply, communicate with wisdom and grace, and engage thoughtfully with the world around them.

Today’s inservice gives our teachers an opportunity to experience the process, explore practical strategies, and consider new ideas they can bring into their classrooms this school year. We are grateful for educators who remain committed to learning, growing, and pursuing excellence for our students!
