At SOAR, we believe every child has the capacity to be a leader - in their schools, families, and communities.
Yet many of the critical supports and opportunities kids need to develop their full potential are out of reach for working families in NWA. Camp War Eagle's SOAR exists to provide kids in Northwest Arkansas with chances to SERVE others, OPPORTUNITIES to try new things, excel in their ACADEMICS and engage through RECREATION.

We are back from break! Parson Hills got to deep dive into all of our SOAR houses yesterday!!! Our younger groups got to draw their houses and signs and our older groups got to practice working together as a group to solve challenges! Stay tuned next week for which house is in the lead👀❤️💙🖤💚

What a semester!!! From our family event to Amazing Shake prelims to winning the basketball tournament! The last four months have been full of learning new ways to be creative, razorback football AND basketball games, Christmas lights, swimming, new clubs, new connections with our community, lots of sunsets, and tons of four leaf clovers! All of these things are great, but at the center of all of it was LOTS AND LOTS OF JOY! We can’t wait for another semester of celebrating the big and little things, and getting to support our awesome Parson Hills families. We hope everyone enjoys their winter break!

WE COULD NOT BE MORE PROUD!!!! Parson Hills won our SOAR wide basketball tournament tonight and took home the trophy 🏆🥇🙌 Win or lose, are so proud of our boys on this team. They have worked so hard each and every day to put in the effort to get better and better!

One of our clubs this fall was Business Club. Throughout this semester, they got to visit a couple of business in the Springdale area to get insider perspective on running a business as well as inspiration for their own business proposals. Today, they got to pitch their proposals to their classmates Shark Tank style. Their goal was to convince their peers to want to invest in their company. We are so proud of our future entrepreneurs!!!
