6th annual Blue Collar Competition was a success! Saturday students from all over NWA and beyond competed in Automotive, HVAC, and Welding. It was a day of pure talent and hard work!

To add to the fun, we hosted a car show and they did not disappoint! We saw some AWESOME rides.

Secondary Career Center was invited to attend Demo Day in Harrison and Pottsville to highlight the good, the bad, and the ugly of the welding industry!

The skilled trades have been considered “less than” for far too long. That stigma stops here! 🛑

We met students with a passion for the trades and they all have the ability to carry the workforce in the future!

Question: “why do you want to do welding”
Answer: “because I want to hold the power of the sun in my hand”

Great purpose. Great opportunity!
