So, out doing some Christmas Shopping yesterday.....I was randomly offered a job by a manager at a retail store. I politely declined...but he was persistent and began to bargain with me...”What would It take to get you to join our Sales force?” He asked. I almost played hard ball and shut him down again...but decided I’d let him know exactly what It would take...I took a deep cleansing breath and then let my reply fly.

“Ok....Here’s EXACTY what It would take. If you can accommodate all of the things I’m about to say...then I’ll join your force tomorrow!!...

💰 First, I would like 30% commission on every single sale I make. As well as an additional 3%-7%, as my personal sales progress.

💵 I’d like to receive additional %’s of commissions off of the sales done by the people I bring to our sales force...and %’s off of the people that those people bring in to the sales force...and I would like that, repeatedly, through 5 generations down.

💸💸 As I help those new sales people become great at their jobs...I would like you to reward them with Cash Bonuses... and I would like to receive the same matching bonuses, since I’m the one that taught them how to be successful.

💥 The day I start...I would like 90 days of special treatment as far as bonuses and commissions go...so that I have the ability to earn more than I normally would...so that I can get ahead quicker...you know, since I’m new.

🎁 I would like a new vehicle...paid for by the company...(A Cadillac would do)

🖥 I expect your company to provide me with the very best website, complete with Training Modules and company support.

☝️ I would like the opportunity to rapidly advance within the company, as fast as I’m capable of achieving It.

👏 When I do well, I expect LOTS of praise and recognition, as well as fabulous trips every few months or so.

💸💸 Oh yeah...I’d like there to NEVER be a cap on my earning potential. Never Ever. In the history of Evers.

⌚️ I need full access to the schedule...so that I can pencil in the times I am available to work...and the times that I cannot....As I will be attending all my kiddos sporting events, practices, school events & parties and doctors appointments...as well as traveling wherever the wind may blow me that week.

🌅 I’ll expect retirement worthy, residual income, within 5 years.

🌎 And I expect that this company is ahead of the curve in technological advances and already a leader in it’s industry, yes??? “

I grinned ear to ear....and then handed him my businesss card.

Ps- obviously this didn’t happen.. but it very well could and nothing beats the job I’ve got and I wouldn’t change a thing!
