Students will be provided with clear backpacks and all other school supplies throughout the year. We ask for a $20 school supply fee to help offset the cost.

🎨✨ We're excited to welcome Springdale's own, Noel Lieutard to the J.O. Kelly Middle School family as our new Art teacher!

A recent graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in Fine Arts and K-12 Education, Noel is thrilled to return to the school district she once called home. She looks forward to giving back to the community that helped shape her and inspiring the next generation of young artists.

Noel believes art is about so much more than creating beautiful work—it's an opportunity for students to build confidence, express themselves, solve problems, and connect with others. She is passionate about creating a classroom where every student feels welcome and empowered to explore their creativity.

Her love of learning extends far beyond the classroom. Noel has studied art in Rome, Italy, and completed a teaching internship in Limerick, Ireland, experiences that have broadened her perspective and strengthened her passion for education. She is excited to bring those experiences to J.O. Kelly and help our students discover what they can create.

📣 Please join us in welcoming our newest Knight, Tara Christensen, to the J.O. Kelly Middle School team! 💙🛡️

Mrs. Christensen recently relocated to Northwest Arkansas with her husband of 29 years after living in Southeast Idaho. Together, they have five children, three wonderful grandchildren, and enjoy spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, reading, traveling, baking, and staying active through CrossFit and weightlifting.

Mrs. Christensen brings nine years of experience teaching 6th grade Reading/ELA and is excited to use her literacy expertise to strengthen students' science comprehension, vocabulary development, and close reading skills. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships, creating a welcoming classroom environment, and helping every student develop curiosity and confidence.

We're excited for Mrs. Christensen to begin this new chapter with the Knights and become part of the Springdale Public Schools family.
