Apple Tree Academy

We had a very special visitor at Apple Tree Academy this week!

There are moments in education that our children will remember for years to come, and this Wednesday was certainly one of them.

We had the incredible privilege of welcoming Springdale Mayor Doug Sprouse to Apple Tree Academy! What could have been just another visit quickly became an unforgettable experience for our little learners.

Mayor Sprouse took the time to teach our students about our local government, the many departments that help keep our city running, and even shared a little about his own journey. One of the biggest highlights for our preschoolers was hearing about his wardrobe, and now they all want his next visit to be in cowboy attire!🤠

What touched us most wasn't just what he taught, but how he taught. He bent down to meet our children at eye level, listened intently to every story and question, and patiently answered each one during a wonderful Q&A session. In those simple moments, he showed our students that their voices matter.

Mayor Sprouse made it a point to tour our entire school, visiting every classroom, greeting every one, and making sure they had an opportunity to meet him, which left a lasting impression.

At Apple Tree Academy, we believe some of the greatest lessons happen outside the classroom. By connecting our students with leaders who serve our community, we're helping them understand that they, too, can grow up to make a difference.

Thank you Mayor Doug Sprouse for investing your time, your wisdom, and your heart into our students. You reminded us all that true leadership begins with serving others. We can't wait to welcome you back, cowboy boots and all!🤠🍎🌳❤️

Dear school Family and Community Partners,

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our Preschool Valentine’s Day celebration so special! Because of your generosity, our teachers and little ones enjoyed delicious bread (pan- conchas), fresh fruit, thoughtful goody bags, and so much more. Your kindness filled our classrooms with joy, laughter, and sweet memories.

We would also like to extend a very special thank you to Raising Cane's for generously providing every preschool student with a free meal. What an incredible treat for our children and families!

This Valentine’s Day, our hearts were truly full. We are so grateful for the love and support of our amazing community.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Ms. Lensa ♥️

Our teachers spent their evening investing in what matters most, our students.
This evening, our team participated in REACH training to strengthen connections with students and build strong, positive classroom environments. By focusing on relationships and effective classroom management, they are continuing to grow so every student can thrive.
I am so proud of their dedication and commitment! Thank you Sarah Paul for a great session!

Hello ATA Family,

We will be open tomorrow! We ask for some grace and patience as our teachers and their children will be navigating side roads that have not yet been plowed. Some staff may arrive a bit later than usual, and we may have some students visit a different class to meet minimum licensing standards. We appreciate your understanding as everyone prioritizes safe travel. Thank you for your continued support and flexibility. We have missed our students and look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
My best,
Ms. Lensa
