EAST at Sonora Elementary

EAST is all about learning through the process. We’ve packaged these care packages THREE different times and have learned A LOT about the United States Postal Service procedures. Flat Rate, Priority Mail and Ground rates are wild and folks are very particular with packaging details. But with those small road blocks, we’ve gained so much life knowledge. The first chapter of Hero Tales has come to an end, but the next chapter fires up this Spring! Stay tuned!

How it started and how it’s going. Hero Tales attempt #2 is happening now! Sorry about the delay, folks. We had to repackage and relabel our care packages. It’s all good though, the team is ready to ship after a quick lunch break!

Tomorrow we get to bless 74 military kids with a BIG shipment of books, bears and so much more! Looking forward to seeing this project come to completion!

We’re getting really close to packing day! Just waiting on 2 more Amazon deliveries, a few goodies for the younger military kiddos, and shipping labels. Hero Tale shipments should go out within the month!

You catch it, we’ll fry it! And if you don’t catch anything, we’ve got enough chicken nugs to feed the whole family! There will be games, prizes and fun for everyone!

TOMORROW is the day! Come fish for FREE! The Washington Co. Sheriff’s Office will be frying up catfish, chicken tenders and fries! Kona Ice will be there slingin’ snow cones! Arkansas Game and Fish has the lake stocked up and the kids geared up to catch that legendary lunker! It’s going to be a blast! 🎣

Today was another outstanding day of community service with Bo’s Blessings, the 142nd, Camp Alliance, and Hero Tales. There is much to discuss, yet the primary sentiment is one of gratitude. I am truly grateful. Have a great weekend, y’all!

Tomorrow is the big showcase! Join us in downtown Springdale at George Luther Park and let’s party! We’ll have a Sparkii HAM radio receiver fired up, we’ll track a few satellites, and talk a little bit about Artimis II. There will be food trucks, 3x Grammy Award winning (and SHS alumni) Jenee Fleenor, live performances at The Medium and ALL THINGS EAST!
