We’re back at it with Meet Your PTA Board! 💙🐾

Our schedule has been packed with school events, staff celebrations, and so much going on around Hunt that our board introductions had to take a little pause. But we’re picking them back up, and next up is one of our PTA Co-Treasurers, Melissa! 💙🐾

Melissa serves as our PTA Treasurer and is connected to Hunt through her daughter, Amelia, who is in 3rd grade. Her son, Izaak, was previously a Husky and is now in 6th grade.

Outside of PTA, Melissa works as a Senior Manager in Payment Acceptance at Walmart.

A few fun facts about Melissa:

🚶 Her favorite Hunt event is the Walk-A-Thon.

🥤 Her go-to drinks are a Cherry Slush Alani Nu and Grape Soda Olipop.

⚾ She and her husband are working their way through visiting all of the Major League Baseball ballparks.

We’re so thankful for the time and energy Melissa gives to our PTA and Husky community! 💙💛🐾

💙 Happy Custodian Appreciation Day! 🐾

Some of the biggest heroes in our school are the ones working quietly behind the scenes every single day.

Ms. Liliana, Ms. Ana, Mr. Harold, Mr. Shane, and Ms. Esther help keep JB Hunt Elementary clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our Huskies, and so much of what they do happens long before anyone notices it needs to be done.

They are truly some of our hidden superheroes, and today we get to shine the spotlight on them. 💛

Thank you for the care, hard work, and pride you put into our school every day. We appreciate you more than you know!
