Last night we took some of the Lakeside 9th graders to the high school. They got to rehearse with the band, march in with the band and perform a song at half-time with them. They had an amazing time and it made my heart so happy to see how the high school kids welcomed them. Thank you so much to the high school directors, Mr. Steven’s and Ms. Miller for helping to make this happen.
Lakeside band schedule for the week
Monday - sectionals 4:15-5:15
Tuesday - normal day
Wednesday - normal day
Thursday - football game
Friday - normal day
Our parent meeting for tomorrow night has been canceled. We will reschedule for a later date.
Greetings Lakeside Band! We have a busy week ahead. We will be performing at our first football game on Thursday the 15th. More information will be coming soon so be on the lookout for that.
Greetings Lakeside Band family! We have been working really hard the last two weeks to get everything ready for the students. I have missed seeing them everyday and am ready to welcome them back to school. This year will look a little different but we’re still going to make it great. All of that being said, they will not need their instruments tomorrow. I will let the kids know when to bring them to school. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hey there Lakeside Symphonic Band! Mrs. Mauldin and I recorded the awards presentation that would have happened at our spring concert that we, unfortunately, weren’t able to have. We want to express how incredibly PROUD we are of the work you did this year! Every single band member rose to the challenges that were presented (musical and otherwise) and created a product that your city, school, and families can and SHOULD be very proud of. Enjoy your summer and keep the musical growth going!

Good evening Symphonic Band! I tried to post this a couple of days ago, but it didn’t work I guess! Congrats to everyone who got an award, and just as importantly, congrats to ALL of you for a wonderful year! You should be very proud of all the things you did this year, and how much you grew as a musical group. Keep the musical growth going!
