One of our most favorite school traditions is signing the Accelerated Reader Wall of Fame! Students read books and take comprehension tests on them to earn points during the year. Students have an AR point goal to make each quarter. Today was the day our students got to sign the wall! We also celebrated our students who earned AR awards during our Tiger Pride Assembly. Brinkley Fogg, 3rd Grader, earned the most AR points in the entire school and received 1st place with 404.4 points, Myles Evans, 5th Grader, received 2nd place with 341 points (up from 3rd place last year), and Abel Campbell, 3rd Grader, received 3rd place with 311.1 points! Wow!!! Readers are leaders and goal exceeders! Today is the last day of school, but we want to encourage all Tigers to continue reading during the summer. Mrs. Morales from the Springdale Public Library came to our assembly today to share information with our students about the summer programs that will be held at the library. We hope everyone has a wonderful summer! Keep reading, Tigers! πŸ§‘πŸŽ‰πŸ―πŸ“š
