Ecclesia College A Christ-centered college in Springdale, Arkansas offering undergraduate and graduate degrees shaped by faith, leadership, and work. and abroad.

Ecclesia was founded in 1975 as a training center for young missionaries. Now a Christ-centered liberal arts college, Ecclesia educates young leaders for a variety of professional fields by focusing on academic excellence, work ethic, character growth, and Christian service in the U.S. Denominationally and culturally diverse, Ecclesia is a friendly, close-knit campus where Christ is emphasized as the worthy center of a student's college years, as well as ongoing personal and professional life. The College campus is also the home of Ecclesia Prep, which offers supplementary classes and activities for Christian homeschoolers. For a growing number of families, Ecclesia College is the natural choice to follow and build on a godly private or home education. Ecclesia College remembers with gratitude the life of R. Inez Paris, Co-Founder and Chancellor, who passed away September 4, 2026, at the age of 92.

Together with her husband, Oren Paris, Inez devoted her life to serving Christ through evangelism, pastoring, missions, and the ministry that became Ecclesia College. For more than five decades, she helped shape the Ecclesia community through prayer, discipleship, encouragement, and a faithful investment in students and missionaries.

Inez was known for her quiet grace, humility, and faithfulness. We are grateful for her life, her service, and the legacy she leaves in the people and ministry of Ecclesia.

Ecclesia College, today, mourns the death of Officer Fred Marsh.

A 2025 graduate of EC, Fred was one of those rare students that made you wish you had 100 more just like him. He was just so kind to everyone. Fred was the nicest person you could have known. He graduated from EC with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Psychology and Counseling, and minoring in Biblical Studies. He maintained a 4.0 GPA and was co-Valedictorian of his graduating class. Fred faithfully applied himself to every task with which he was involved, be it baseball, work, service-learning, or academics.

While a student, He invested himself into the lives of so many, spending his time doing things that really made a difference, like tutoring children with special medical needs, delivering small, hand-made gifts of encouragement to elderly veterans, and visiting and spending time with retired faculty members in their homes.

Fred was genuine, authentic, and loving. He did what he did because he loved Jesus, and his life, in every way, mirrored the goodness of the God he served. Every person who posts a tribute to Fred Marsh will say something along this line because it’s who he was.

Today, while we say goodbye to a graduate, a former teammate, a fellow police officer, a fiancée, a son, or a family member, it is the great witnesses of the faith, in heaven, that are welcoming Fred Marsh with open arms, and it is Fred’s Saviour, Jesus, that is saying to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter now into the joys of your Lord.”

On behalf of the administration, faculty, staff, and students of Ecclesia College, our hearts and prayers are with all of Fred’s family, friends, and co-workers as they mourn this loss.

Ecclesia College is seeking a dependable, experienced professional to join our team as a full-time Food Services Supervisor in Springdale, Arkansas.

This position will help lead the daily operations of our dining hall, including:

• Meal preparation, cooking, and service
• Supervising, training, and mentoring student workers
• Supporting scheduling and meal planning
• Maintaining a clean, welcoming dining environment

Previous food service and management experience is preferred.

The ceremony will take place in Wallace Auditorium in Wallace Hall on the Ecclesia College campus in Springdale.
