‼️Federal Funding for this industry is changing FAST‼️

The Department of Education has determined this industry as a non viable industry. What that means is they feel this industry doesn’t deserve Financial Aid because they are not seeing a return of investment.

We are seeing schools close and organizations losing their funding to support these programs. Workforce development programs are no longer giving funding for this industry. We are seeing accreditation organizations in trouble in this industry.

What does it mean for you?
If you are attending a beauty or barber school you may lose your aid while attending. 2028 is when it will get really REAL! It’s gonna come down to if you can’t pay out of pocket you will not be able to go to school. It’s really coming down to the Haves and the Have Nots!!!!

How do you avoid the trap… Enroll into an affordable school that has planned for this.

Next class starts Nov 3.

🪽It is with a Heavy Heavy Heart that we have to announce the passing of our beloved Ms Sande

For 4yrs Ms Sande came in very Friday and volunteered to work front desk. As a cosmetology instructor she would find herself on the floor teaching the ladies the “old school way “. From time to time I would look up and she would be doing a client. Even after she was put on hospice she still showed up for her post. I would tell her Ms Sande you don’t have to come and she would say, “Baby, I’m not sitting around waiting to die. As long as I have strength I’ll coming!!”

Ms Sande adopted me as her daughter and the school as her family. When her friends came to town she always made sure she showed off her “school”.

Rest Ms Sande! Thank you for loving me and the Destiny family.
