Sharing this for any interested homeschooler robotic enthusiasts

Forget The Kits. Forget The Step-By-Step Instruction Manuals.

This summer, we're running THE Competitive Robotics Summer Camp where kids ages 8–12 design, build, and code their own dunk tank machine to compete against each other to see whose "victim" lasts the longest on each platform.

Here's what to expect->
1. Led by real engineers: Not just camp counselors.
2. No answer keys: Campers solve real engineering challenges.
3. Competition: Show off against other teams and go head-to-head.

Join this weeklong, fast-paced, engineering challenge! Spots are limited!

Questions? Just reply to this post or DM us — we're happy to help. We'd love to see your student build something amazing this summer.

This is a first for me - an ISBN on the back cover of an Abeka book (yes - I know virtually all Abeka books have ISBNs, but I always wondered why Abeka has some level of censorship on ISBNs). Bring them back!

*** CURRICULUM HIGHLIGHTS ***

Classic literature may not be a boxed curriculum, but it is one of the most flexible building blocks in a strong homeschool education. Literature-rich programs like Sonlight, Beautiful Feet Books, My Father’s World, Veritas Press, Memoria Press, and others use classic stories, historical fiction, biographies, and read-alouds to help students connect ideas across subjects.

**What it is:** A collection of time-tested books that can support literature, history, writing, vocabulary, discussion, character study, and family read-aloud time. These selections can pair well with an existing book-based curriculum or help you build your own simple reading plan.

**How learning flows:**

* Students read stories that build vocabulary, comprehension, and attention span.
* Historical fiction and biographies make time periods feel more real.
* Classic novels create natural opportunities for discussion, narration, copywork, writing prompts, and literary analysis.
* Read-alouds allow multiple ages to enjoy the same book while older students go deeper.

**What your day looks like:** Read a chapter or section → discuss characters, setting, conflict, and themes → connect the book to history or life lessons → optionally add narration, notebooking, vocabulary, or a short writing assignment.

**Flex for your week:** Use one book as a read-aloud, build a literature list around a history period, or fill gaps in another curriculum. Classic literature works well for morning time, independent reading, unit studies, and high school literature credits.

**Teaching multiple kids:** Younger students can listen and narrate, while older students can analyze themes, write responses, compare books, or connect the reading to historical context.

**Getting started:** Choose books by age, reading level, and topic. If you already use Sonlight, Beautiful Feet, or another literature-based program, check your book list first—used classic literature can be a great way to complete or supplement your curriculum without buying everything new.
