Mrs. Hinderer is one of the first grant recipients of the newly-established Boro Education Foundation. This morning, she and her students filled up and officially launched their project-based learning initiative: the Positive Panther Library! 📖

This Little Free Library is available to all Clearcreek students and is conveniently located by the pick up/drop off line. 🚙

The project integrates STEAM, literacy, and civic responsibility by tasking students with the placement, curation, and stewardship of the library. It also ties in to their first language arts unit of the year - all about books and how they can change lives! 📚

Thank you to the Boro Education Foundation for making this possible, and to Mrs. Hinderer and her students for working hard to bring more reading resources to fellow students! 🐾

Fencing is up and equipment is moving in! 🚧

By next school year, Springboro Junior High will be home to six new classrooms on the northwest side of the building. A kitchen renovation and addition, restroom upgrades, and new lockers are also in the works! 🔒📚

These improvements (and many others) are being funded by the district's no-tax-increase bond levy, which was approved by the community last November. We look forward to sharing many more updates throughout the construction process! 🐾

Springboro Schools works hard to make every dollar count. That means providing strong opportunities and outcomes for students while being thoughtful stewards of the resources our community provides.

On the 2025-26 state report card, Springboro Schools earned a 4.5-star overall rating, while spending just under $11,000 per student. That’s 22% less than similar districts and $2,118 less per student than the state average. 📉📚

Our preschool educational assistants picked a major winner for their annual family engagement outing at Kleather's Pumpkin Patch! So many families stopped by to pick up treats and spend time having fun with our awesome Clearcreek EAs and teachers. 💙

Thank you to Kleather’s for hosting, our staff for making everyone feel welcome, and our kiddos and families for choosing to spend the morning (or afternoon) with fellow Panthers! 🐾

Nine Springboro High School seniors are being recognized as 2027 Commended Scholars through the National Merit Scholarship Program! 🎉

Congratulations to Miles McHone, Keeran Patel, Samuel Mazuk, Alexis Zimmer, Lillian Ballak, Julia Balgac, Michael Siehl, Liam Yerrick, and Nicholas Key! 🏅

These students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the competition by taking the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test last year and will receive a Letter of Commendation to recognize their impressive academic success. 📚

The Five Points library has a new addition! 📣

Thank you to the PTO for donating a customized book vending machine! 📚

Each grade level will be incorporating the machine into their PBIS incentive plan. So instead of crumpled dollars or loose change, students can use tokens they earn for showing positive ROAR behavior. Once they select a book, it is theirs to keep! 📖

After more than a year of planning, fundraising, and designing, the PTO held a special ribbon cutting this week and invited Interim Superintendent Mr. Tudor to be their first "customer". We look forward to many more books being selected this year and appreciate the Five Points PTO's hard work to make this new opportunity possible!🐾
