ASE Highlight Spanish Immersion Club — Adventure Through Spanish! ✨

In the Spanish Immersion Club, students learn Spanish through play, creativity, teamwork, and hands-on adventures! Each week, students receive take-home materials to continue practicing what they have learned. 📚

Paco, our Spanish-speaking puppet dog, guides their adventures alongside his Mini Mustangs, encouraging students to participate and use Spanish in a fun and welcoming environment. From counting in Spanish to singing songs and completing missions, our goal is to make Spanish an experience—not just another class! 🎶

Take a peek into a day of social studies class at CinDay! Our north students worked in groups to become experts on Enlightenment thinkers: Hobbes, Rousseau, Montesquieu, or Locke. Students researched, read articles, and presented their thinkers with their groups. CinDay values public speaking and giving students the opportunity to not only grow academically, but as an individual. ❤️

Last week our little Mustangs went on their first field trip of the school year! Preschool - 2nd grade went to Germantown to bring their pond life unit to life. 🐸

The students explored and caught dragonfly nymphs, snails, tadpoles, and mussels in the pond. They had the best time!

This week the north building had their first showcase! Students researched and wrote about topics related to the early U.S. government while incorporating art techniques such as stippling, cross-hatching, hatching, and contour lines. In Math and Science, students applied their learning through hands-on projects involving bridge design, medical imaging, and disease research. 📚🏗

We are incredibly proud of how confidently our students shared their learning and showcased the connections they made across multiple subjects during their first showcase!

North Highlight! ✨

Our students are working on a multi-step foot bridge project in Physical Science. Students moved from researching and blueprint sketches into the hands-on phase, starting construction on their foot bridges. They drew inspiration from real bridges around the world and now their designs will come to life! 🏗️
