Future Leaders Learning Academy will be closed on June 19th to celebrate Juneteenth. This special day remembers when, in 1865, the last enslaved people in the United States learned they were free, over two years after President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth is now a national holiday, celebrating freedom and the important contributions of African Americans to our country's history and culture.
Our students attended a super cool hip-hop dance class and had lunch with their fathers at Sassy Feet Dance Studio. We had an amazing time! Happy Father's Day!!!!
