Before Torres Jiu Jitsu had a name, a building, or students walking through the doors, there were a lot of long days that included working full-time, training, teaching, competing, going to school, coming home late, and getting up to do it all over again.
Somewhere in the middle of all of that, we started building something of our own.
Eventually, Mike made the decision to leave the security of a “safe” job and take a chance on opening an academy.
It was a risk. It was scary. And it changed our lives!
