Clear the skies—Ms. Wiley’s 3rd graders are taking flight! ✈️💨
For our Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Science of Flight unit, our young engineers explored Balanced & Unbalanced Forces through hands-on testing:
Balanced Forces: Equal pushes and pulls keep aircraft gliding smoothly in steady flight.
Unbalanced Forces: Changing forces like extra thrust or lift cause planes to climb, turn, or speed up!

We are so proud of our Cubs and their eagerness to learn throughout the week! Our students learned about the different drills we practice at school, why we practice them, and how each of us plays a part in keeping our campus safe.

From practicing drills to talking about everyday safety, our Cubs did an awesome job listening, participating, and taking safety seriously while still having some fun along the way!
