Out of an abundance of caution due to Tropical Storm Eduoard, all after-school activities are canceled today.

We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and will communicate any updates regarding school operations tomorrow as more information becomes available.

Please stay safe, Monarch families, and keep all those who may be affected by the storm in your prayers. 💙🙏

Virtue of the Week: Docility

This week, our Monarchs are practicing docility—the virtue of being willing to listen, learn, and accept guidance with a humble and open heart. 💙

Docility reminds us that we don’t have to know everything on our own. We grow when we listen to those who guide us, remain open to correction, and trust that there is always something new to learn.

As we continue to grow in love, reason, and service, let’s encourage our students to be teachable, attentive, and ready to grow in wisdom each day!

✨ Virtue of the Week: Prudence ✨

This week, our Monarchs are focusing on Prudence—the virtue that helps us pause, think wisely, and choose what is right.

Prudence reminds us that we don’t have to rush into every decision. We can stop, think, pray, and choose wisely—even in the little moments of our day.

St. Pedro Calungsod, pray for us! 🙏

Science + Creativity = A Sweet Start!

Our students kicked off their new science unit by putting their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to work! They challenged themselves to design and build a class bridge using nothing but toothpicks and gummy drops.

It was hands-on learning at its best—and maybe a little tempting to eat the building materials! 😉🍬

We can’t wait to see where their curiosity and creativity take them next!

Learning through movement!

Our Pre-K students are building hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and spatial awareness through a fun scarf-catching activity! It’s amazing how much learning can happen through play, movement, and a little bit of flying fabric. 🧣✨

Story Time with Mrs. Parfait! 📖💙

Our Monarchs enjoyed some special reading time with Mrs. Parfait! She visited Kindergarten for a special story time and later spent time reading with our 2nd Grade students.

We love seeing our students enjoy the magic of a good book—and even better when it’s shared with our principal! ✨

Our 2nd graders are proving that the little things matter!

This week, our second graders earned Legos for the Built on the Rock board by showing what it means to be responsible and respectful—keeping their uniforms in order, wearing their shirts tucked in, and walking quietly and orderly through the halls.

These simple habits help build a strong school community, one good choice at a time. Keep building, 2nd grade! 🧱👏

Father Christian officially earned himself a LEGO on our Built on the Rock board! 🧱👏

By sharing his time, knowledge, and love of learning with our 3rd graders during Story Time, Father showed our students what it means to build others up through service and generosity.

We love seeing our Built on the Rock theme come to life—not just in our classrooms, but through the people who give their time and talents to help our students grow in faith, knowledge, and character.

Way to go, Father Christian! Your LEGO is well earned!
