What an honor this is for both Tammy and I! Way too excited about this one!!!

We are pleased to announce that the Signature Quilt for the 2024 International Quilt Festival Houston is "A 1915 Variation of a Goose in the Pond" by Tammy Morris and custom quilted by Eva Ellison!

This quilt will be on the cover of the official show program and one side of the Festival tote bag, feature in advertising, and hang in a prominent place on the show floor as part of the exhibit "50 Years of Great Quilts." Congrats to Tammy and Eva!

We haven’t checked power at the store yet this morning BUT here is a lovely quilt we recently finished for a customer. Hoping for power soon!

UPDATE: 07/11/2024: Still no power at the store. Staying hopeful. Will update tomorrow morning.

Update: We will be CLOSED until further notice. The power is still out in Old Town Spring, and no update on when it will be restored. We will keep updating you all daily!

It’s been way too long since I’ve quilted feathers, and these feathers are fabulous. Hence the pattern name, Fabulous Feathers. It’s a little tough to see in this photo, I used the wall as a reflector for the flash, and it only sort of worked out for this.
