Don’t forget - Tomorrow, Friday, May 29, we invite alumni and their families back to campus for a special reception to celebrate Sister John Paul!

We’ll have a special reception for the alumni and their parents from 2-3pm, and then an open house for all community members from 3-5pm. The celebrations will take place in Assembly Hall. Attire is casual - jeans and spirit shirt are fine!

In Lieu of Personal Gifts: For those interested in sharing a gift, one aspect of religious life for the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia is living a life of poverty. Sister John Paul won’t be able to accept personal gifts, but she has suggested another option for those who feel impelled to give! Consider making a gift to the Building Saints Capital Campaign at frassaticatholic.org/saints. Thank you for helping support her legacy at Frassati Catholic!

On Thursday, we celebrated the more than 70 Frassati Catholic students who received the sacrament of Confirmation this year! As is the tradition at Frassati Catholic, we prayed a litany to their confirmation Saints, and provided each Confirmandi with a statue of St. Michael the Archangel. Saint Pier Giorgio, pray for us!

Congratulations to student athletes Reese Blanton and Mikey Johnston. We celebrated their legacy of athletic success at Wednesday’s Spring Sports Recognition Night. Reese (Softball) and Mikey (Football & Baseball), were honored as they both committed to play their sports at the collegiate level. Reese Blanton will play Softball at Southern Arkansas University, and Mikey Johnston will play Football at University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Both have left a lasting impact on Falcons Athletics - thank you, Reese and Mikey - and we can’t wait to cheer them on at the next level!

Congratulations to our girls golf team! They have qualified for the state championship tournament for the fourth year in a row! The team took third at regionals, led by Caroline Wiseman and Bella Hagan who both finished in the top 10, and aided by low scores from Maripaz Gaitan, Sarah de Koster, and Olivia Czajkoski. Good luck to our girls as they go for the gold at state on May 11 and 12. Go Falcons!
