What a blessing to have the Eucharistic Procession come through Frassati Catholic today! Over the course of this four-day procession, we've had students traveling to parishes to participate, and today was our turn to host the community as the Blessed Sacrament stopped on campus for a brief liturgy, homily, and benediction before traveling to St. Edward. The final Mass of the procession will take place this evening at 7pm at St. Edward. Praise God!!!

Giving Tuesday is tomorrow, and we have big news! Generous donors have pledged to match up to $25,000 for gifts made to Frassati Catholic through Giving Tuesday. That means your Giving Tuesday gift to Frassati Catholic has DOUBLE THE IMPACT. Just make your donation on our website - https://frassaticatholic.org/givingtuesday - today or tomorrow to have your gift matched dollar for dollar. All donations from Giving Tuesday will go directly toward the Frassati Fund, our annual appeal that helps bridge the gap between what families pay for tuition and the true cost of a Frassati Catholic education - a difference of roughly $3,500 per student. Please give now to help us make this the best Giving Tuesday yet!

One of our largest fundraising initiatives each year is our Tuition Assistance program, and at Saturday’s Blue & Gray Gala we fundraised $75K for Tuition Assistance during our Raise the Paddle portion of the evening. That’s $75K more that we can use to support students and families who otherwise may not be able to attend Frassati Catholic. If you weren’t with us on Saturday evening, you can help too - just visit https://frassaticatholic.org/raisethepaddle, to make your contribution.

The Frassati Catholic chicks are in their brooder in A-208! We've created a livestream where you can watch them. The lights in the room go off during the night, but they come back on each morning. We'll plan to keep this livestream going until we need to put a lid on the brooder (a.k.a. before they start trying to jump out). Last week our AP Art History students visited the Houston Museum of Natural Science to explore the Ancient Egypt collection and the King Tut exhibit. Students practiced identifying unknown works with their visual analysis skills and their ancient vocabulary. Additionally, AP Art History students have been learning how to make art history relevant for 21st century audiences - exploring HMNS helped provide ideas and examples as they develop their own exhibits for the class.

🏈 According to Frassati Catholic High School Head Coach Calvin Lafiton, Sophomore Liam McCarthy is a once-in-a-generation player who’s only getting better. The star Linebacker dominated on defense against Harmony with 23 tackles, 4 sacks, a forced fumble, and a recovered fumble for a touchdown.

The Falcons defeated the Wildcats 55-6, and Liam’s outstanding performance makes him this week’s Built Ford Tough Player of the Week. 💪

He was selected for this honor after a dominant performance in a 55-6 win over Harmony School of Innovation where he had 23 tackles (15 solo), 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery for a Touchdown. Way to go Liam and Falcons Football!
