This past weekend, twenty of our upperclassmen ladies traveled with Sister Mary Esther and Sister Elizabeth Marie to St. Cecilia Motherhouse in Nashville. During this first visit of Frassati Catholic students to the Motherhouse, the ladies were able to immerse themselves in the life of prayer, silence, and community life as lived by our Dominican Sisters in Nashville since 1860. This trip was made possible because of the generous grant we received from the Scanlan Foundation to promote a culture of vocations at our school, and we are so very grateful for their generosity to us. We know that these ladies came away with a deeper understanding of religious life as well as an appreciation of the Dominican charism as it is lived out in the curriculum and formation of Frassati Catholic—even our robust dance culture was part of their weekend! Please pray for these ladies and all of our students as they pursue God’s will for their lives and seek to be men and women of the Beatitudes.
