Writing starts long before pencil meets paper.

Before children are ready to form letters on a worksheet, little hands have some important work to do. 💚

👆 Drawing in sand
🎨 Painting & creating
🟣 Stringing beads
🤏 Picking up and manipulating small objects
🔤 Touching, matching & exploring letters

These playful experiences help build the fine-motor strength, coordination and confidence that make writing possible later.

Worksheets can have their place when children are ready—but pre-writing doesn’t have to look like perfect letters or endless tracing.

Sometimes, the best preparation for holding a pencil looks a whole lot like PLAY. 💙🌱

100- Acre Woods

If our school were a story book..It might look a little like Winnie The Pooh’s - The Hundred Acre Wood. 🌳🍯

We have our Tiggers bouncing through the day,
our Piglets discovering how brave they can be,
our Owls asking a hundred curious questions,
our Rabbits who like everything just so,
our Poohs leading with kindness and big hearts…
and yes, we Eeyore moments and at our 100 Acre Woods too…every feeling belongs. 💙💚

When you have big news to share but don’t have an air inflatable.
We are hosting our 2nd Grow Big Community Festival on September 25th 4:30pm- 6:30pm
All our neighboring communities are invited. It is a family friendly festival with food, activities for kids, vendors and a lot of fun. Admission is free!!

Infant to Toddler transition is the toughest

As proud and excited as we feel watching our little ones grow and move from Infants to Toddlers, there’s always a little tug at the heart. 💚💙

Our infant teachers say goodbye to the babies they’ve cuddled, comforted, and watched reach so many “firsts”… and then, little by little, new tiny faces arrive and fill the room—and their hearts—all over again. 🥹

Growing up is beautiful… and a little emotional for all of us teachers, educators, entire staff and PARENTS!!💚💙
