I am thrilled to be headed on an out-of-state business trip. Only the second one since Covid! I have been blessed with many clients during this season, but until today, the only face-to-face work was in Texas.

So thankful for the opportunity to work with an amazing group of leaders in the Chemical industry last week. We explored topics like the impact of Covid on the organization, how to be a change agent, how to improve our communication skills, and how to develop executive presence. I am truly blessed to do the work I do!

Very happy to be facilitating my first in-person leadership workshop since this pandemic began! We’ll be following CDC guidelines, and having some important conversations. May we behave wisely as this owl outside of the building stands guard... 🦉

During this season of thankfulness, I am mindful of being thankful for the work I am called to do in the business world. This week, I wrapped up a project with a Senior leadership team who has been working diligently on their professional selling skills. As a bonus, I was able to see the gorgeous Christmas tree in their offices. Happy holidays, all!

Thankful to be in Atlanta this week working with one of my favorite clients! We’ll be thinking about the steps and skills that lead to meaningful conversations.

Thankful for the work I do and the impact I am privileged to witness. Currently working with a group of Senior HR professionals who are embracing new roles, Senior tax advisors with a professional services firm who are learning relationship building skills, and a Senior executive who is transitioning into his first global role.

Are you paying attention to the important priorities at work? After returning home from a trip where I'd been gone most of the previous 6 weeks, I found myself attending to a much-neglected garden. After looking at the ground for several hours pulling weeds, I looked up at the tops of my plants. They needed attention, too! It reminded me of a current client who said that she did not have time to pick herself up out of the weeds to pay attention to the "higher level" priorities. Does that sound like your work life? Are you paying attention to the high priority work items, or are you getting lost in the weeds?

I am so thankful to be working with my favorite professional services firm this week to help them as they invest in the next generation of leaders.
