We recently saw a horrible accident. The light turned green, the car proceeded into the intersection only to be hit by a driver running a red light.
We often associate green with safety, however, accidents happen.
It's always best to check to your right and left before driving into an intersection.
School is back in session and school bus safety is an important topic!
Make sure to brush up on your knowledge, and talk to your kids as well!
School buses are the safest way to get children to and from school, but injuries can occur if kids are not careful when getting on and off the school bus. We’ve put together our top safety tips for riding the bus.
🚸 Walk with your young kids to the bus stop and wait with them until it gets there.
🚌 Teach kids to stand at least three giant steps back from the curb as the bus approaches, and board the bus one at a time.
🛑 Teach kids to wait for the school bus to come to a complete stop before getting off and don’t walk behind the bus.
We often think of our phones as a distraction from driving, but there are many other things to be careful of as well!
Eating, changing the radio, dropping items, daydreaming...the list goes on!
Let's be mindful to avoid all distractions when on the road this week.
